The door is knocked, and a friend opens the door.
Good morning, friend! I am happy that you invited me to this beautiful dinner tonight.
The doctor enters the house filled with a delicious smell.
So, what about your work in the field? You know exciting things happen at our work every time! Last week, I had an opportunity to meet with such a wonderful author. He told me stories afar.
That’s wonderful! I have always wanted to visit overseas. Alas, my job didn’t let me go so far.
My friend, you always have been the best among us. You have always cared for others as much as they were your loved ones. Sometimes, I wonder how you can treat everybody with such grace! For me, They are just problems. When they are solved, my business is over. But you care for them beyond their complaints!
Well… When I see those eyes, I cannot do anything they do not deserve.
What do they deserve? They only deserve what they give to you! More than that, are they deserving such grace! Last, a patient of mine tried to attack my assistant.
I am sad that such things happen sometimes.
Well, I am not. I even lost seeing them as us. They became objects of treatment. Oh god! What has this job done to me? I cannot see anybody besides myself!
This pork of yours has been wonderfully cooked. Did you make it?
No, one of my patients is chief, so I just asked him this favour of honouring you.
Thank you very much.
The talks continue while the doctor mentions someone who is possibly ill.
My friend, have you lost your mind? While I am telling you to care a bit more for yourself, You are now trying to expand your work beyond your patients! This person you are mentioning is out of your circle!
I … feel …
What do you feel? What about what you think? Don’t you think about your own life, your pleasures?
I am sorry, but I will never understand being that comfortable when you know a disease which burdens you with great suffering. I saw it. The patient was like an angel. So pure, so sensitive.
Where did you encounter that sorry person?
I was walking down the road when I encountered such an angel. They usually look away, but this angel stared at me with such shyness that I suddenly stopped.
Then?
I just walked away. But I saw this malicious illness in his eyes. I knew what would be coming next. My friend! I cannot let this person suffer that much. Why did I even become a doctor if I do not act now? Our duty is to cure those who suffer.
You are an idiot! That person hasn’t come to you! You just stared at this guy and were mesmerised by his innocence? Well, let me tell you something. I had a similar situation before. I wanted to help. Then, what happened!? My good intentions turned into a nightmare. Let them suffer until they realise they need you else; you will suffer for both yourself and for them in order to undo that suffering.
I cannot do that. Even though what you say is an example, I feel the right thing is to step out of our comfort zones in our offices and take the risk.
I am only sad about your good self. Many even do not deserve such treatment. What do they do in turn? Be grateful to you ever and do something for you in turn. Over. My friend, you care too much for others. What about your self?
Self wants to help other selves who will be suffering if I do not act.
Go ahead! Do it. Oh, fools, THEY do not deserve that. You will make me sad when you tell this angel of yours turned into a fiend of the darkest kind. Angels live in heaven, not on earth.
This is why I became a doctor. Heavens deserve to be in here.
Heaven deserves to be in hell!?
Hell deserves to have a chance to become heaven.
All right. To help this. But I will be furious if this person turns out to be nonsense. I have lost hope for the good. Now, I do not even expect anything good, so I am never disappointed. Why do they deserve your love?
Tomorrow, the doctor meets with his angel by fate on the same road.
Greetings, I wanted to…
The person looks with a deep, a little bit of fear and with the immense pleasure of being acknowledged.
